1967 Morris Minor 1000 Saloon

Thank you for taking the time to look at this ad for my Grandads prized 1967 Morris Minor 1000 Saloon in stunning Almond Green. He has owned this since 2019 after searching for years to find the right one as he's always wanted one! In his time of ownership he has had extensive metal work done with floors welded and replaced and undersealed, arches front and 1 rear replaced with steel ones not fibreglass! and lots of little tinkering jobs and rust repair.

Unfortunately, he is struggling with his health and is now looking to sell and hope that it goes to a good home! He has done quite a lot over the couple of years and there are stacks of receipts (many dating back to 1997 so may have had an overhaul around this year) from previous owners (see pictures) it even has its original service book! As you can tell from the pictures he has taken good care of the car and it has been his pride and joy, although due to his health he hasn't really driven the car but has enjoyed working on it. Please don't expect a band new car, it does have blemishes and some minor rust spots as it is over 40 years old! I think it just needs little jobs to finish her off fully but overall its fine as it is.

The car starts and drives well, I have taken this out for a drive around the block and it does what you expect, everything works and is a lot of fun to drive everyone looks! Brakes need bedding in as he hasn't really driven it since undertaking most of the works. The mileage on the car is unknown as the clock stopped working at 12,000 miles (now changed to a new speedo reading 04337) but we have some old MOT certificates which I will list the mileage below so it has at least 112,000 on but with these cars this is irrelevant really:

The car is now MOT and tax exempt so no need to worry about getting those done anymore. It has had 7 previous keepers and from the looks of the paperwork has spent most of its life in Yorkshire. The car will come with some spare parts which he is going to try dig out what he has, but there are plenty of parts available online and in the parts books included in the paperwork.

Viewing is highly recommended and test drives are welcome (please ensure you have appropriate insurance or we can take you for a drive) This is being listed on his behalf but he will be able to run through all the things he has had done to it on viewing or via the phone. Price is negotiable, no silly offers though.
