Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.05) based on 70 votes

For sale is my 1994 Bentley Brooklands. She is in Red Pearl (mica) with Parchment hide with St James red top roll and seat and armrest piping.

She has done just under 76,000 miles and had 5 previous keepers.

The private number plate will come with the car.

The car has just gone through its MOT - no advisories.

I also have the full spec, build and factory sign off sheets (70 pages)

Recent work includes:

4 new tyres

New brake discs and pads on the front

Repaired alarm ECU

Oil and filter change, coolant change and new spark plugs

Accumulator test - no leaks

In 2019 she had a full recommissioning service including transmission fluid change and diff oil change

Please contact me for a link to a further 60 photographs of the car.

The service book is stamped to 67,000 miles and she has been looked after in recent years by Dean Jaggard (Jaggard & Moore), Paul Yorke (Everything Rolls-Royce) and in the noughties she was looked after by Ghost Motors.

I had a full geometry set up and various mounts replaced so she drives beautifully now. Well in my opinion she does.

She is 27 years old now so obviously does show signs of use. If there is one thing I hate it is going to look at a car and find it not as described in the advert, so here I will do my best to highlight the blemishes and foibles. I would hate anyone to come and look only for them to feel they have had a wasted journey.

Bodywork:

In very good order, the only rust signs are front edge of the right hand wheel arch just a few bubbles. Also some rust under the left rear bumper on the lower valance.

There is no rust in the usual areas such as the front sills, door handles (although I have just spotted a tiny blister on the right rear door handle), screen surrounds, the bottom of the rear window door jambs or around the boot badge area. She has had paint down the right hand side (but show me a Bentley or R-R that hasn't) but it is generally good. All in all she does present very well I think.

Underneath it looks like she has been well protected with a number of waxoyl treatments in the past and the rear spring cups have been replaced.

The sumps have been regularly re-torqued at service time.

Despite what the pictures may show, I'd say the paint on the car is a bit flat and if keeping it I would do a two stage mop and then she would really pop. The mica paint means the metallic flakes are not just silver, they are a mix of colours and so looks quite different in different light. I have included some photos that hopefully highlight this. It really is amazing.

Similarly the wheels are very good but a refurb would finish her off beautifully. All the hub cap key covers and keys are present.

Basically I have been focused on getting the mechanicals in good order so far and then would move to polish the paint etc but plans change.

Interior:

When I first got her the leather was very dry but now after soaking up three applications of leather conditioner it is all soft and lovely.

The drivers bolster has some usual wear signs but other than that it all looks wonderfully original. There are no leather creaking sounds. The dashboard, waist rails and picnic table wood are all in great shape. No peeling or cracking of the veneer.

The car comes with the lambswool over rugs in cherry red, the fronts are good but oddly the rears have some sort of white stain/fading? Not sure what it is.

The drivers seat ECU shows signs of playing up. The electric movement works just as it should when the ignition is on but once the engine is running those controls then happily move the wing mirrors!  Odd but that is what it is, it's never bothered me as I don't need to move the seat when on the move. The ECU battery was replaced in recent years so should be good for a while now.

The boot carpet is pristine and toolkit is all present and correct including unopened LHM bottle.

I think that is everything for now. If you're interested please feel free to get in touch.

I am based in north Essex.

Thanks for looking.
