This is my 1938 Morris Eight

Due to a new job and another restortion project. I have come to the conclusion that I am not going to have the time to finish this car

Since buying it 12 months ago. I have replaced:

The brake shoes

wheel cylinder rubbers

The clutch

The wood floors

The Carpet

made repairs to the wood frame beneath the rear window

Full Service

The car is great fun to drive. it gets smiles and waves where ever you go.

Urgent work still required is the wiring. it currently runs the battery flat due to earthing problems. (side lights are on dim all the time) A brand new cloth bound wiring loom is included in the sale. You will also notice that the head lining around the rear window needs replacing following the work to the wood frame.

The body work is solid but there is some scabby rust areas. mainly arounf the roof gutter rail. but not too serious.

Allthough it is a series 2. at some point in the past it has had some series 1 parts fitted. including the grill. head lights and wire wheels. I intended to keep these changes as I felt they improved the look. It has 5 wire wheels but the spare has no tyre.

There is a small history file with the car. including its original Buff Log Book

As I work away from home. I will try and answer any questions but may take a couple of days to come back to you if I need to get someone to go over to the car to check something.
