1987 Buick Regal LIMITED

Up for sale is my survivor 1987 Buick Regal Turbo T Type Limited with 70k original miles. This is an extremely rare car, only 1035 turbo limiteds were built and only about 200 had the WO2 blackout package. This one is white with factory t tops, leather interior, and G80 posi rear, it may very well be the only one optioned like this. I purchased this car in January off ebay not running from an impound lot where it had been sitting for about 20 years.

I got it home and flushed the fuel tank and lines, replaced the fuel pump (red horse e85 compatible pump), fuel sender, filter, regulator, and cleaned and flowed the fuel injectors. I replaced the ignition module, coil pack, plugs and wires. I replaced all the vacuum lines, iac, and pcv valve. I replaced the malfunctioning powermaster brake setup with a new vacumn booster, brake pedal, and master cylinder and flushed out the brake system. It ran good at this point, but leaked everywhere!

So next I replaced the front and rear main seals, oil pan gasket, timing cover gasket, valve cover gaskets, rebuilt the oil pump, new cloyes timing chain, chain tensioner, both engine mounts, and a roller cam button. Next I moved to the transmission with new seals, filter and pan gaskets...this car has no leaks! I next replaced some seals in the ac and charged it up...AC is ice cold and compressor is quiet.

I cleaned the interior and replaced both window motors and window sweep weatherstripping. I also lubed everything in the doors to operate smoothly. All the interior options work including the digital dash.

The body is pretty solid, it needs a trunk lid, both doors have some rust in the bottoms but are repairable, both rear lower quarters behind wheels have minor rust in the outer panels (see pics) and the driver rear floor pan has a few soft spots. I hit all the rust spots with a wire wheel, treated with multiple rounds of rust converter and primed them white to keep them from getting worse until I could get it into the body shop. The rest of the floors, trunk pans, roof, and firewall are all in good shape and the t tops do not leak. I replaced the front and rear fillers with factory style goodmark pieces and primed them white so it would look good while driving.

I have put about 200 miles on it in the last few months driving 10 miles to and from work in the south Florida heat with the ac on with no problems.

I would like to keep this car like all of them, but I have too many cars. I currently own 4 other turbo buicks plus 5 other cars.
