Tvr Tasmin 2.8i series 1 convertible 4 speed 19141 miles for light restoration

Thanks for looking This is a very rare and stunning looking Tvr Tasmin 2.8 i convertible built in December 1980 according to Tvr No power steering and 4 speed Ford gearbox type E .I have owned this since 2005 and used it for a couple of years,been sorned since 2007 ,it now needs some light restoration.The car is very original ,even down to the paintwork !!!!i was going to keep this and get it all finished but there is so much rubbish in my garage,it would be a shame to spend out only to leave outside and due to work I don't think I would ever get the time to use it .Good points :-1 .good chassis ,no rust at all

2 .rare velour seats immaculate as is the rest of the interior but needs new carpets to finish,wood all

immaculate bar a small lacquer crack in the passenger armrest.

3 .original paint,never been messed with at all

4. Under bonnet just needs a good clean

5 . New tyres and new door ,boot and roof seals been fitted recently

6 . All glass as new .Bad bits ,needs at least a top half respray which you would probably get away with ,swage line and below is immaculate ,front bumper rubbed on extreme edges ,passenger door stuck closed ,needs a new hood ,I have one but not included in this sale ,mechanically needs going through ,hasn't been started for a few years now and is not able to be driven away ,will need trailering away,needs a battery .This is not a weekend project but its not a difficult one and needs more time then money spending on it .What you will have when finished will be probably the lowest mileage series one convertible left and a very early one as well,and with good 3000 m's now 25 k and above these will follow suit very soon .No time wasters or tyre kickers ,its not immaculate but its not 10 k either ,I work 6 days a week so don't need the grief and constant stupid questions ,anyone sensible I will try to answer you swiftly .the V 5 logbook is in my name ,I have the original owners manual to go with it ,it comes with 2 sets of original keys .Probably left lots off but message me and I will help .Have listed for what I consider to be a reasonable start price for such a low mileage original vehicle Have a lot of early paperwork that I will try and find in the loft before auction end .
