My Classic Rover Mini Cooper, City E 1.0L 2dr, 1990 H Reg, 66,580 miles, MOT'd passed in Jan 2021. This is a stunning fully restored Classic Mini. Amazing condition inside & out, This car really is a head turner. Originally the Mini colour was Black but it was fully stripped & resprayed by the previous owner into Skoda Rallye Metallic Green. It looks unique & people love it. This is a must see in person car. I bought the car in January 2017 in a completely different condition to how you see it today. I spent £10k in 2017 restoring the Mini into the beautiful example of a classic mini that your looking at now. I have all receipts for the work I've done including 1 receipt in particular for £9k in June '17 from Classic Mini specialists ‘Mini Sport' in Padiham Lancashire. Who better to do the engine, mechanical & interior work than one of the best Mini specialists in the UK. The car spent months over the summer of 2017 in their garage having endless work done. It was always taken there & back on a transporter to avoid unnecessary long motorway miles. I'll list as much of the main work as I can remember but I'm sure I'll miss something off as its had so much done. There's also a lot of smaller jobs & parts that you will see on the invoices. I started by adding a Stronger 70 Amp Alternator, Strong New Battery, New L&R back quarter opening Windows, New Green 8.4 vented Brake Pot Callipers, Cooper Laurel Valve Caps, rear Suspension Adjusta Rides, New Super flow performance twin box Exhaust, Front & Rear Windscreen locking seals, Monte Carlo Carpeted kick panel Door panels, Monte Carlo rear quarter panels, New rear Seat Belts, New Heater Matrix, Walnut door Capping front & rear, LH Radius Arm, New Smiths Speedo, Temperature & Oil Gauges. It's also had New Door Seals, Fuel Hose, Fuel Pipe, complete New Full Wiring-Loom Dash & lights, Switches, New rear Subframe, New Quadrant Pin, Bushes, Bump stop & Brake Pipes front & rear, New Heater Hose, New Radiator Cap, Interior Walnut door opener Handles, Window Winders & Door pull Handles, rear pocket Mouldings, rear pocket Linings, Full Moulded Carpet, New rear Seats & Covers, New Classic Front Seats inc Headrests with Green Pipping, Chrome Astin Petrol Cap, classic Cooper Mirrors, New Indicator, Headlamp, Dip & Horn column Stalks switches, New front Seat Belts & Reels, New Subframes for the front seats, New 13” John Cooper Wood Steering Wheel with Chrome polished Boss, complete New Walnut burr Dashboard with Glove Boxes with Inserts, inc a Cigarette Lighter & 2nd with x2 USB ports, New Boot & Door Handles, New Boot Seals, Carpeted Boot Board, New front Light Lamps, Air Vents for the Dash, New rear Heated Window, Headlamp, Brake, Hazard Switches, Complete New mk3 Roof Headlining, Walnut Centre Console, New Wiper Arms & Blades, rear Wheel Arch Covers, New green Leather Handbrake, New winged Cooper Badges F&B, embossed B&W Classic style Number Plates, Chrome GB badge. The old speedo showed 66,357 miles. Old mileage is also shown on the previous MOT's. So the car has only driven 223 miles on the new speedo since the work has been finished. The car is stored inside in a temperature controlled garage all year round. It's taken for a little drive every few weeks. It went on the Rolling Road to be tested & specially tuned & serviced. It has Alloys & Yokohama tyres. The car was specially modified by the previous owner to a special hydraulic flip front. It is unbelievable for great access to work on the engine. It has years of service history, work receipts & old Mot's. I have more photo's of the mini prior to the restoration I began. If you need any questions answered or more photo's please feel free to ask. Only serious buyers please & no part exchange or silly offers wanted. This is a beautiful car it really is, the attention it gets is very flattering, people stop & stare, ask to take photo's, talk to you at traffic lights, leave notes on the car, people just love it, I've driven supercars & its just the same but they cost 100k upwards. This is a special car. Believe me when I say I don't want to sell this Mini but family comes first. I bought it at the beginning of 2017 for 4.5k & have spent the money like I've said above. The price I'm selling it for is very fair for what it looks like now, all the time & money I've spent on it, you will benefit from now. It's ready to go. Compared to what else is up for sale this is up there as one of the best for sure. Don't get me wrong there will always be something you could do, you could spend another few thousand possibly on either engine changes, bodywork or adding things if you wanted but if I spent more then the sale price would also be higher too. The Mini had a 12 month MOT passed no issues January 2021. If you're interested in this beautiful car then you need to come & see it in person to really fully appreciate it. Thank You.
