VERY ATTRACTIVE & STYLISH 1965 LANCIA FLAVIA PF COUPE 1800.Just 27k miles,4 owners in total,huge history file and much money spent in recent years.On offer here is an extremely low mileage and rather lovely Lancia Flavia PF Coupe,a first series car,in my opinion the most attractive variant.Fitted with a flat 4,1800cc boxer engine,4 speed gearbox,front wheel drive,disc brakes all round, and with very attractive Coupe bodywork styled by Pininfarina.In lovely Mendosa Blue,with full cream leather interior it is in super all round condition and has had a vast amount of money spent over it's ownership.HistorySold new in 1965 to it's first owner,a Mrs Phyliss M Brabner of the Gateways,Chelsea,it remained in her ownership until 1982,when it travelled to South Side,London W6 and a Mr R Barton.In 1991 it moved on to it's 3rd owner,residing in Bourne End SL8.Not long after the 3rd owner purchased the Flavia in 1993 and at a very modest 24500 miles,the engine was stripped checked over and fully rebuilt with the aim of some performance improvements using 2000 coupe cylinder heads,camshafts.Koni shock absorbers were fitted front & rear.At this time the engine was also converted from the standard single carb set up to a twin carb set up,normally only fitted to the Flavia Zagato,some modest front suspension upgrades were carried out as well.You can definitely feel the difference in performance from the standard Flavia Coupe 1800!In more recent years the brake wheel cylinders have been upgraded to Zeus Engineering pistons all round.Other upgrades or replacements include the following.......New master cylinderNew brake servoNew brake hosesNew Facet electric fuel pumpNew fuel linesNew fuel tankRefurbished fuel senderRefurbished wheelsNew Michelin Tyres all roundNew wheel trim finishersKenlowe fanRechromed front and rear bumpersRechromed rear light surroundsRechromed rear number plate surroundStainless steel exhaust systemPlus much more.On the road the car drives extremely well,it feels tight and rattle free over the bumps,the engine shows excellent oil pressure hot & cold,the water temp reading is steady.The engine pulls very strongly,the gearbox is lovely and the steering is nice and sharp,as are the brakes which pull the car up strongly and in a straight line.The interior presents very nicely,the dash and dial set up are like new,the headlining and sun visors are original and in excellent order.The carpets are an older,good quality replacement and as previously stated the seats and door cards have been recently retrimmed in cream leather.All the panel gaps on the car are excellent,I suspect the panels have not been removed at any point in the cars history? The doors and boot shut beautifully,with a very satisfying feeling of quality.The upper bodywork is corrosion free and the structure and floor are excellent.The Mendosa Blue paintwork really suits the car and has a very good shine to it.It's not a better than new,concours finish though,there are some cosmetic imperfections that could be improved depending on your personal level of finish.All the chromework and stainless trim is in excellent condition.There is a huge history file that comes with the car,this includes many bills and receipts,old mot's,owners handbooks,workshop manuals,factory literature and advertising.The first series Flavia PF Coupe is,in my opinion the most stylish of the Flavia variants.With Pininfarina styling very reminiscent  of similar period Ferraris,it really is an attractive & stylish looking car.
