LANCIA MONTECARLO SPYDER S2 UK REGISTERED

Just imported from South Africa.I drove the car today and even after sitting for several months it drives great.Car is now UK registered in my name and address. Reg No. MKW 482W.This car has spent all of it,s 40 years under the South African sun and unsalted roads, it would be difficult to find a better climate for a vehicle.The original supplying dealers were TAK (Transvaal Agricultural Kooperassie) who were also official Ferrari dealers.This Montecarlo is not a rough car that has been "tarted up" for a quick sale, it is genuine and very rare find.    Mot and road tax exempt.Lovely almost rust free car, yes a virtually rust free Lancia.The car is not perfect, but can easily be made so.As i am sure you are all aware, the values of these rare cars has greatly risen over the last year or so.Good Bits,Matching numbers car, i generally do not like use this term,but it truly is the case with this Lancia. Engine sounds great,no smoke or anything else it should not do.Electrics, all lights work,wipers work and heater fan works on both speeds (very rare for an old South African car). Rear lights are excellent and original Altissimo.Side indicators are excellent and original Carello. Drivers electric window works well and goes all the way up and down.Superb bodywork (other than mentioned),no ripples or signs of filler.The floors on this car are absolutely beautiful,i can see no rust,and no previous signs of repairs,you will not find better!Bottoms of the doors,passenger door is excellent with outer skin joint original and perfect,o/s is the same but has a small rust bubble in the corner.Original service book from supplying dealer in Johannesburg with all the cars and original owners details,but no service stamps.                           Is there another Montecarlo out there with it,s original tool kit and original supplying dealer service book?Receipts dated 11/3/20, 22/10/20 from Auto Azzuri a highly respected Italian car specialist in Cape Town, the invoices total about 17500 rand, which is a little over £900. A lot of work for £900, but rates are far cheaper in South Africa. Included on these invoices are the following,new radiator core.new cambelt.new clutch kit.condenser,points,clean carb and various other jobs.   The mileage on these invoices is 23271 kilometers and 23970 km,the recorded mileage now is 24373 km,i have no idea if the car has been around the clock or not.  Plus also not included on the invoice, new Falken tyres all round.New battery.Original Lancia toolkit.Correct 14" wheels for a S2.The car has probably had the odd bit of paint in the past,but it is of a very good quality and most importantly very thin.I can see absolutely no signs of filler anywhere on the car.Perfect arches,etc.Wheels are excellent and must have be refurbished also are the correct 14" wheels.Bad Bits,dent on rear engine cover (caused during shipping).small dent on the front of the n/s wing (paint not blistered).lacquer peeling on bonnet.bonnet is rusty on the underside beneath the vents.n/s electric window does not work,but motor can be heard running. drivers seat incline lever is missing so incline is far back, which is not too far on a Montecarlo.£14000 No Offers.Pick up from Sutton Coldfield, B74.Cash on pick up or bank transfer.You can contact me on 07957 426835, if need be,                                          thanks.
