TRIBUTE Z75 KIT CAR for sale

This well sought after replica is based on a 2.8L Z3 from 1998. I believe this is bar far the best example of this rare car to come up for sale but without the high price tags of some. This recreation is inspired by the iconic Italian sports cars of the 60's.

The car is based on a modern BMW Z3 so has 1960's supercar looks and performance with none of the downsides. It's cheap to insure, returns decent MPG and is cheap to service. With the real thing commanding six figures, most original cars like this are in museums or secure storage.

No one knows if this car is a real throw back to the 60's or a replica, they just comment on how amazing it looks and filling up with fuel can take on a whole new meaning as it creates a storm where ever it goes. It stops traffic and is certainly not for the shy retiring type, especially with its rasping exhaust note.

The car is based on a modern car with a record of reliability and practicality and can be used on a daily basis without issue.

Only a handful of these are in existence as they are no longer produced. I believe that this is one of only two cars ever completed and this will only add to its exclusivity and will appreciate in value. It is correctly registered to reflect the vehicles' current status.

This particular model was built to an extra high standard and is in fantastic condition with its recently completed paint job. These rarely come up for sale and this has to be the most desirable one of its kind around and not likely to come up for sale again.

Please do not confuse this with 'home built' cars of a similar ilk that have come up on Ebay over the past year or so as this is a bit special.

The car has an extended red leather Z3 interior with electric seats but this can be upgraded at a later date by a decent vehicle trimmer or the guys at Classic Coachworks who often take on this type of work. This could include all leather interior, period seats and classic replica dashboard and gauges. The red leather seems to compliment the stunning Grigio Mahmoud paint work perfectly. The initial plan was to add twin stripes matching the interior so that it paid tribute to the famous Eric Clapton Ferrari of the 60's but it looks just fine as it is and less seems to be more on this occasion.

The donor car has 101,000 miles showing on the upgraded clock assembly with a bullet proof, straight six engine under the bonnet. This is still relatively low mileage for these cars. New stainless steel twin exhaust fitted giving an amazing rasp and that lovely burble when you slow down at the lights.

The Z3 is well catered for with all motor factors still stocking cheap parts.

The car has ABS, power steering, lots of paperwork and comes with a new MOT.

The car starts first time every time, does not smoke and ticks over nicely. It has had a recent service and has new vented and grooved disks and pads fitted all round.

The car is fitted with a new, decent quality battery and new stainless steel twin exhaust. It also comes with a fully powder coated roll cage which not only replicates the cars of the era but also helps to stiffen things up.

It has period chrome wire wheels which are new with correct 'knock on' 3 eared spinners and Borrani logos. It has 4 new 205 Blockley tyres all with minimal wear.

As mentioned above the car is painted in stunning Grigio Mahmoud grey with no expense spared.

Top quality Italian door handles and wing mirrors are fitted which really set the car apart from similar models with Classic Mini handles. Chrome washer jets, Aston filler cap, chrome trim strips around the window, along the top of door and along the side, chrome number plate lamps, chrome boot handle with remote release, period rear glass window with no tell tale rear demist wires.

Classic replicas are becoming more and more desirable by the week and prices are starting to rise rapidly. This car is priced realistically and any inspection is welcome.

Genuine buyers please as test pilots will not be entertained.

The car can be viewed in the North Hampshire area as it is currently being given the once over by a well respected kit car company.

This is a classified ad so no silly offers please as I know what this is worth.

Obviously, cleared funds before the car leaves home.
