1966 Corvette Coupe  MOSPORT GREEN #'s MATCHING BB 427 / 425hp  (450hp) "SOLID LIFTERS"

 

VERY RARE COLOR . Hard to Find (code 982) - only avaialble in 1966 (1yr only)

Out of 27. 20 corvettes produced that year -  9. 58 were coupes / 17. 62 were convertibles

ONLY 2. 11 were painted MOSPORT GREEN between coupes and convertibles.

 

 

The car was built with the following options from the factory in 1966

Mosport Green (982) - hard to photograph depending on light

L72 - Big Block 427 / 425 hp  "IP" Special Cam. Mechanical Lifters. & 4sp (correct 942 engine block)

A01 Soft Ray Tinted Glass

N14 Side Mount Exhaust (only item added during restoration)

N32 Teakwood Steering Wheel

Frame off - Meticulously Restored a few years back - 2. 55 miles since restoration.

 

Recently moved from South Dakota to Texas. the car is now here in TX. It runs strong. Drives excellent. Sounds Great. Starts right up when its cold or hot. Everything works including the clock. All you need to do is drive. show and collect trophies. Excellent car for any collection. given the RARE COLOR . will only increase in value over the years. It gets lots of attention where ever it is !!

I'm interested in the restoration history and where or who did the work as well as any documentation you have. How old is the paint and is the paint the original color. Do you know what the car had originally and what is still original on the car?
