Hi Folks

Well I have to finally accept I “may” have too many Morris Pick Up Trucks and one I'm afraid has to go ☹.

I'm therefore selling my Fiat Twincam Ute "not the yellow one" in order to put some cash into building another truck from a pile of parts!

I have owned this truck for about 4 years and it's been great useable workhorse, it drives WAY WAY better than a stock Morris and has a reasonable 120 bhp turn of speed. 

Here is the lowdown.

Good is.

1968 Van based Pick Up, so proper chassis with “substantial” fabricated back.

Fiat 2.0 Twincam "not Abarth just covers" and 5 Speed Box all running very well but no idea of mileage.

Coilover Front Suspension with Marina “Van” Hubs and Front Disks, handles and stops good!

Coilover Rear Suspension with 4 link and Panhard Rod location, handles and stops good! Oh I said that but this stuff costs BIG BUCKS to install from stock!

Much stronger Toyota Corolla/Celica Rear Axle with multi links and E Type Jag rear shocks

Genuine 14” Wolfrace Alloys, 4.5” PCD

Ford Sierra Pedal Box, Servo and Master Cylinder and bias adjustment.

Fiat Coupe leather seats.

Generally solid chassis and cab.

New Front Tyres, New Rear Brakes.

 

Less Good.

It's over 50 years old, so if you don't understand that & don't enjoy working on cars then probably best to walk away.

Doors and Wings have the normal Minor tin worm, but I have a pair of fiberglass wings included.

It was a van originally but has been updated to a Pick Up on the V5 but with original engine capacity. I just tick the “modified more than 30 years ago” and I believe I'm being honest. I have had no problems with insurance which is very reasonable.

Probably time for a valve adjustment and cambelt as last done 5 years ago. I am however including a large selection of valve shimms.

Keys won't lock doors.

I'm 20 miles South East of Gatwick and available most days for viewing.

I retain the right to end the auction as the truck is advertised elsewhere.
