Having come to us a recent part exchange against one of our other classics, this E46 presents in really nice condition. The exterior, Titanium silver, paintwork has a good overall finish, free from any nasty dents, zero rust (unusual with an E46) and nice even panel gaps. The alloys are in near perfect condition (fitted with a matched set of tyres) and bumpers, lens, exterior rubbers etc are all great too. As a 20yr car, a 'future classic', she looks lovely and it's great to see that her previous owners have kept her 'pure', devoid of silly spoilers, no lowered suspension set-ups and even on her factory 'SE' option alloys, though of course a future owner may choose to upgrade to set of BMW MV1 or MV2 alloys (Style 72 or Style 135) to enhance the look further.

Opening the door and the quality continues on the inside too. With just 75k miles on the clock, the interior finished in light grey cloth, with aluminum accents, is in excellent condition, with zero bolster wear to the seats, no colour fade and all the plastics / switches remaining in excellent order. Everything works as it should too, the air con remains ice-cold and we love the operation of the opening rear quarter windows and the 'oh so cool' rear window blind.

With just 3 former keepers and only 75k miles (less than 4k/yr) mechanically the car is in fine fettle, the service book has 9 service stamps !! We've driven her on multiple occasions and shes a real delight. The 2.5 litre straight six, M52 engine, has to be one of the smoothest motors out there and coupled to the 5 speed automatic gearbox this E46 makes for a fantastic drive, she'll return over 30mpg when on a run and in 'Sport/Manual' shift we've no doubt that she'll match all of her performance specs, a sub 8sec 0-60mph and 140mph+ ..... on the autobahn!

As an entry level to 'modern' classic motoring, we'll be completely honest ..... motoring doesn't come much better; a premium brand, German engineering, comfort, style, safety, oodles of space and performance to boot. Add in a great service record, mechanics that are built to last and a lineage that tracks back over 40yrs; this 323Ci SE has to be a bit of a bargain!
