A unique opportunity to purchase a rare ex stage rally Vauxhall redtop 2. 0l 16v front engined rear wheel drive classic shaped mini professionally converted and used by Allspeed Engineering Ltd.  This is 1 of only 3 ever built by Allspeed Engineering.  **Quite possibly the most successful rally mini of all time with countless class trophies and numerous top 3 results.  **Arguably the fastest package ever created for the classic mini being famous for its giant slaying abilities on the club rally scene for many years. ** Performance is simply mind boggling with balance / handling and brakes to match giving the journey from ‘A' to ‘B' one of the quickest to be experienced. There may be quicker mini's for specific disciplines but this mini is the whole package . a true legend !!! 
The mini's specification includes : *Fully refabricated cad designed monocoque shell with custom full weld in cage. Was done this way to keep the msa ( sports governing body ) as happy as possible by not going the usual route of space frame with fibre glass body. thus representing a road going car as far as possible.  *Fibre glass boot lid and bonnet *Heated screen *Lexan side and opening rear quarter windows *Door windows are converted to mk1 sliders *Door pockets

Noted observations and additions ! Mini is in excellent order having been maintained to a very high standard. Has been dry stored since the end of 2009. Mini is presented as it finished her final rally in 2009. Rust is virtually non existent. but there may be evidence of some minor surface rust in places. This is a pure drivers car with few refinements or driver aids. no abs / traction control / power steering etc. It will not drive itself !! Noise levels inside the cabin are relatively high as there is no sound proofing. but the engine sountrack is very special. There is a propshaft vibration and is in need of servicing/reconditioning. The windscreen has a small crack. (courtesey of a stone thrown up while in a battle with Rob Lowes/Roadrunners Metro 6r4 ) Please bare in mind this is a very high performance mini used at the forefront of club rally motorsport for several years with no mercy given on the tarmac rally stages. for that reason it isnt in showroom condition and has minor battle scars to show for it. The mini has never been in an accident or rolled. Paint is finished is metalic silver with dark blue metalic roof. Paint is ok but would benefit from being tidied up. The mini is based on a 1976 1275gt morris mini and the dvla log book is fully correct showing the engine change etc. She comes with her msa competition log book She has been fully road legal to comply with msa regs but the mot has expired and is now on sorn. hence trailer required for collection Mini comes fitted with 4off 8x13 grp 4 competition revolution wheels and 4 dunlop racing tyres and a spare. In addition to be included : 4 off 7x13 revolution wheels with Avon CR500 road/monsoon tyres 4 off 7x13 revolution wheels with knobblies 10 off 8x13 gp4 competition revolution wheels with Dunlop moulded cut slicks and inters. 16 off Dunlop moulded cut slicks and inters.
