1977 FJ 40 Toyota Land Cruiser:

-My “Beasty Girl” is a North American Stock (NAS) 1977 FJ 40 — she is a fine example of an extensive andcomplete frame on restoration — exceptionally and tastefully restored to itsoriginal stock condition using OEM parts with a few updates for daily drivingcomfort and convenience: Unmodified with the exception of professionallyde-smogged, header and Weber carburetor performed by previous owner (niceupgrade for great power and response — perfect for daily driving) — all stock 1977 FJ 40 TLC spent its whole life in California/Nevada (Lake Tahoe/Reno) withthe original owner/family and spent the last 20 years in storage when the previousowner's husband passed – I am the 2 nd owner - Beasty's restoration began in Arizona and completed in Texas, August 2021 — Beasty is currently garaged in Texas as a result of job relocation and is started and/or driven 1 x week -Mileage shows 95,166 as of this posting — Clean Arizona title in my name.

Restoration completed August 2021:

Complete exterior single stagepaint July - August 2021 with body parts and glass removed – every part that couldbe taken out was removed and either replaced or restored to its originalcondition -- conscious decision to retain the original mint condition interiorpaint with the exception of rear cargo and doors repaint after new rear sillreplacement as part of the restoration process — new OEM front bumper with dualtow hooks and OEM license plate bracket — new CCOT receiver hitch flanked byrestored OEM rear bumperettes — individual body parts removed, inspected,prepped, sanded and primed (DTM epoxy) and sprayed in PPG single stage original Toyota stock color 854 Sky Blue – PPG single stage original Toyota stock color T 012, Cygnus White for the fiberglass roof and front bezel -- Sky Blue/Cygnus White is a timeless classic FJ 40 color combination and highly desirable andsought after -- new 5 x stock OEM wheels were professionally sand blasted andpowder coated by “Powder Coat It” a reputable Phoenix specialty shop to matchthe roof and bezel – Beasty is powered by tuned, adjusted and refreshedoriginal 2 F engine with newly installed power steering kit (Toyota FJ 40 PSgearbox and Saginaw pump), new spark plugs -- she runs strong and shiftssmooth through all the gears -- strategically installed combination of OEM zinccoated and stainless steel hardware (bolts, nuts, flat and lock washers)throughout inside and outside (including areas not visible to the naked eye)--all lights (new front and rear parking light lens), switches, gauges andelectronics function as designed (including headlight switch illumination andthe blue high beam indicator)– Front seat frames restored and seats recoveredwith high marine grade seat covers, flawless original rear jump seats with stowstraps – restored OEM seat belts (front and jump) — the roof received a newheadliner as part of the restoration – installed new CCOT lockable securitycenter console with stereo mount (installed and hidden from view a new Nakamichi stereo along with new Cerwin Vega speaker in factory location) – theoriginal radio functions and is in its original location — new antenna infactory location — includes the original OEM center console as an option toreinstall — new gear and transfer case shift knobs -- Includes the original OEMfront and rear cargo rubber floor lining in exceptional condition – front andrear heaters removed and restored and blows hot – 5 x New Toyota stock OEMsteel wheels and hub caps including the matching spare (sourced from a Toyota dealership) are mated with 5 x BF Goodrich KO 2 32 x 11.50 R 15 tires(perfect stance and well balanced with the lifted shackles) -- All new 5 x OEMToyota badging (1 x front, 2 x apron and 2 x rear) – All doors receivedcomplete restoration including window channels, runs and OEM weatherstrips –OEM springs with 5 x matching new Bilstein shocks including steering stabilizerintegrated with 1.5” front and 2.5” rear Anti-Inversion BTB Products shackle lift (very stoutand functional while presenting her with a well balanced fit and function — no LC lean/droop and drives very tight as designed — the newly installed powersteering and the legendary 2 F 4.2 L mated with 4 speed transmission and 4 WDtransfer case functions well with great power and handles with a purpose — fuelsystem inspected and serviced along with a new fuel filter -- engine idles at 650 and runs strong and shifts nicely through all gears – tie rod ends/draglink serviced with new 5 x boots/seals — 2 x discs brakes and 2 x rear drumbrakes serviced and functions well -- zero rust undercarriage is coated withhigh heat paint and is in great shape - frame treated with POR 15 – enginereceived new 20 W-50 oil (2 gallons), new air and oil filters — front and reardifferentials, transfer case, transmission received fresh 80 W-90 gear oil (2.5 gallons) — all other fluids inspected and topped off
