Land Rover SERIES 3 109 w/Turbo-Diesel. (pre-defender model) I have owned this vehicle for 16 years and have undergone a full chassis up renovation and upgrade in 2012. It is a northern Thailand vehicle which means very minimal rust on chassis. Replaced original 2.25 petrol with a 2.7 4DR6 Turbo Diesel Mitsubishi (from a Japanese J23 Jeep). Much more torque, power and Japanese engine reliability and easy serviceability. The original cab was extended by the original CKD Land Rover body factory in Bangkok creating much more cab space and a unique look. Tops are interchangeable like most Land Rovers of the era with a few bolts and a lift. Full convertible, extended pickup cab or full hard-top with sliding glass windows and Safari roof.
