Beautiful presented 205 GTI in desirable 1.9 guise, one that is complete to factory specification and originality. First registered in March 1989 and therefore being the desirable pre-catalytic converter model, the car has formed part of a private collection having only covered 117,000 miles since new – with full documentation to back this up.

The car was initially purchased as a vehicle for my son to use in 2019, but, as it turned out it is simply far too nice to use as a daily driver and to be left in public car parks on a regular basis. This is a genuine reason for sale with the impending loss of current storage location and the sheer lack of use.

Externally the vehicle condition is impressive given the age and mileage. It is beautiful in all aspects, and really there are very few areas which require attention. Interior wise, it would not be too far-fetched to call it “time warp”. Seats showing only the faintest signs of wear to the outer bolsters, while the red carpets are in excellent condition throughout.The sunroof slides back happily and is watertight. The headliner is taught throughout with no sagging, and everything inside the cabin works exactly as intended, with no warning lights on the dashboard.

The cars history folder contains a veritable treasure trove of paperwork. The service history is fully stamped up until the most recent service in 2019, though the invoice is present for this in the folder. As well as the service history, there is also a pile of other invoices from the car's history, along with the three original Peugeot handbooks, three sets of keys, numerous old MOT certificates and a plethora of other documentation.

Included with the car is two covers (indoor and outdoor), selection of spare parts including a replacement front grille, light lenses, intake & Haynes manual.
