Another of our recent purchases is this exceptional value for money R107 380sl . In the hands of the last owner for 6 years it has recently undergone some substantial renovations prior to our purchase which included a full waxoyl treatment underneath, replacement of all four tyres and a new exhaust and a full repaint in its original black body colour - there are some minor imperfections in the paintwork and signs of preparation under the paint in certain areas

As you would expect the car presents itself very well owing to the repaint, the hood is in excellent order too with no visible rips, tears or damage. All of the alloy wheels have also been subject to refurbishment.

It has covered 152000 miles and comes complete with an excellent service record including a folder full of history and the original service books too containing a total of 21 stamps (aswell as lots of additional supporting paperwork and mot's etc)

We had sold this vehicle recently for £17500 and were including a full new set of carpets, major service and recolouring of the leather as part of the deal. When we removed the carpets we found some corrosion below both the passenger and drivers seats which will require plating by a professional welder, the passenger floor section will also require replacement (this is a £200 panel from sl shop) . Our workshop is currently super super busy which means we have decided to sell this vehicle at below market value to allow someone the opportunity to carry out the works themselves and buy a very sensibly priced R107.From underneath the car looked perfect as Mercedes factory sealer is so thick it often disguises rust that is coming from the inside out over - this way you know you are buying an honest car needing some work as opposed to an overpriced car that may perhaps be hiding issues that are not apparent

It is mechanically very good and drives great although in my opinion it will require a rear brake calliper as it appears to bind on.
