For sale we have a stunning Lotus Elan 1.6 SE Turbo finished in one of the best colours of British Racing Green with charcoal half leather with tartan inserts. The car was first registered on 6th December 1990 and was sold by Colmore Lotus in Birmingham. The car comes with Electric Windows, electric mirrors, stereo CD player, 15 inch OZ Route alloys wheels, Power steering and central locking. The car has a great service history file with thirty two stamps in the book with most of them being carried out by Paul Matty Sports Cars in Bromsgrove. We will have a full service and MOT once sold. This is our own warranty and not one purchased from any other company.
Oil, brake fluid and water levels must be checked regularly and any significant losses advised immediately in order for the items marked* to be fully covered.
The following mechanical or electrical items specifically listed will be covered
ENGINE* – rocker assembly including hydraulic followers, inlet and exhaust valves [not burnt valves], springs and guides, cylinder head [not cracks and de-coking], cylinder head gasket [except skim], push rods, cam shaft followers, timing gears and chains [excluding tensioner], oil pump, pistons and rings, cylinder bores, con rods, gudgeon pins and bearings, crankshaft and bearings, inlet manifold, flywheel and ring gear.
N.B. Failure of the timing belt is not covered unless specified as being fitted at the time of sale.

MANUAL GEARBOX* - internal gears, synchromesh hubs, selectors, shafts, bearings and bushes and transfer gears.

AUTOMATIC GEARBOX* - internal shafts, gears, clutches, brake bands, valve block, governor, oil pump, bearings and bushes, servo, drive plate and transfer gears.

BRAKES* – brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders and/or calipers
CLUTCH* – pressure plate, release bearing, oil contamination [centre plate only], master and slave cylinders
DIFFERENTIAL – internal crown wheel and pinion, gears, shafts, bearings and bushes, thrust washers and spacers
FRONT-WHEEL DRIVE – drive shafts including constant velocity joints, universal joints and couplings [not gaiters]
REAR-WHEEL DRIVE – half shafts
ENGINE COOLING SYSTEM* – water pump, radiator[s]
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM – starter motor and alternator
The following parts are NOT covered:
BATTERIES – unless they fail within 7 days of purchase of vehicle.
FRICTION MATERIALS ie. Brake Pads/Shoes, Clutch Centre Plate, Tyres.
RADIO/STEREO/CD PLAYER unless supplied new by the Company.
ALARMS/IMMOBILISER unless supplied new by the Company.
ELECTRICS including aerial/s, window/mirror/A/C switches, central locking,etc
