1976 Lincoln Continental MK IV Cartier Limited Edition, just 39,000 miles from new, 460 V 8

A stunning vehicle which has covered just 39,000 miles from new and fitted with the legendary Ford 460 V 8, this is a superb low mileage, low ownership example which drives as well as it looks.

Imported from Arizona in 2004 with just 27,000 miles covered, this is a dry state car free from corrosion and has some service invoices and photographs from the states to corroborate the mileage. Imported to the UK by famous rock musician Mark Brzezicki, renowned drummer and founder member of 1980's rock band Big Country as well as string of other session acts including Ultravox, Procal Harum, The Cult, Pete Townshend and Sting. His cars are only ever immaculate throughout and this represents an opportunity to acquire a rare and little used example which formed the cornerstone of his collection for 13 years. The car has had just one other owner in the Uk who bought the car in 2017. Together with the vehicle we have an A 4 binder containing a collection of invoices detailing work carried out and every MOT since the car came to the Uk. The car has been maintained with no regard to expense to the extent of having the interior re-trimmed in the original Dove grey fine grain leather in the same factory in Scotland who trimmed these cars when they were new !

The car presents exceptionally well and must be among the best Continentals available in the Uk with no significant marks on the bodywork and no evidence of previous repair. The interior likewise is in quite exceptional condition with no signs of wear at all. On the road the car drives beautifully, the engine is the quietest 460 we have driven, barely audible and providing effortless torque as the car glides quietly and smoothly along with just fingertips on the steering wheel, absolutely fabulous.

Finished in Dove grey with fine red coachlines, Valino grey landau roof and trimmed with Dove grey leather interior with the Cartier signature in the rear opera windows, this is a genuine Cartier limited edition and a very rare car especially in the UK.

Period specification to include climate control air conditioning, electric seats, power windows, central locking, cruise control, original radio and 8 track player etc.

Absolutely stunning throughout, a superb low mileage, well cared for example of a rare car, ideal to show or cruise.
