This Morris 8 Tourer  is what I call a little Jem. it was stored in a shed hidden under sheets etc for the best part of 18 years. I bought the car. fitted a new battery. drained the full tank of stale petrol. turned her over and away she went. the car was I recon restored approx 25 years ago. I am not sure of the full history. the car is in very good condition. looks like a complete new wiring harness etc. new upholstery. body tub. wings and running boards all in very good condition with no rot at all. the hood was renewed along with side screens at the time although now a little faded. looks great. brakes are all working very well. looks as if they were all renewed at the time. engine and gear box all good. I  had the head of the engine as there were a couple of valves sticking from time to time. I noted the engine has been rebuilt as there are liners pressed in with new piston. the valves were very good but were gunged up with a petrol residue from standing I would say. having used the car for traveling to and fro to work through the end of the summer with not a tap of trouble. the only faults I can find are the paint finish. although it looks good on the photo. it has a covering of small micro blisters. can use it as is as the car will not deteriorate. but would look much nicer with a coat of paint. the only other fault is passenger seat side panel has been nibbled by those little pesky meece. a very easy repair. I have given a very honest description of the car but still recommend seeing it as I will not haggle with anyone who buys and knocks the car without seeing it. I reserve the right to remove it at any time as is advertised else where.
