Seller's notes: The car has minor scratches. The drivers seat needs to be reupholstered as is badly worn with a little wear on the passenger seat. Aerial works but does not go up and down when you turn the ignition on. The hard top is in good condition but has a some rust on the underside. Still very usable and would be easy to repair. There is a small water leak on the drivers side footwell. The chrome on one of the bumpers is flaking a little, again nothing major.

Here is my wife's 280 SL. I bought it for her 40th birthday. The car has had a lot of work done to it. Two new front wings. Two new rear arches and the back panel underneath the rear bumper. Full respray. We have all of the pictures detailed of the restoration work.
The car does not come with a full service history. We do have extensive paper work for past services and repairs. I have serviced it my self over the past two years and a major service done when the car was first put back on the road.
We have had a brand new hood costing £750 fitted last month. Two new rear tyres and silencer fitted last year. Not many miles done since.
We are only selling the car as we do not use it enough and feel that it should be used more and enjoyed.  
It is not perfect and does need a little cosmetic work but it's 90% there.
