This Aston Martin DB2 Drophead to Vantage spec was one of 102 Dropheads produced between May 1950 to April 1953 and benefited from VB6B Vantage engine with the 2600cc engine producing 105bhp. This beautiful DB2 Drophead was first supplied by Inskip in the USA to a Mr Irwin Finkelstein of Floral Park, New York on 29 August 1952.

Simply put this car has been nut & bolt restored to as new. It was purchased in the USA in slighlty dilapidated condition & has since then had a three year Nut & Bolt restoration to "As New" Best in world condition. The car drives like no other, smooth & with the lovely exhaust note from the twin tail pipes. The attention to detail is quite breath taking and worthy of any concours or show.

It is finished in its original colour scheme of Jubilee metallic Blue Paintwork. To the interior is dark blue hide throughout along with a blue mohair roof.

Perfection needs few words. It is the best of the best & ready to win prizes with just 52 shake down miles completed.
