1955 Ford Thunderbird Convertible in Brisbane, QLD for sale

1955 Ford Thunderbird Convertible.
Hard and soft tops. Hard top is white and comes with a storage stand for when the roof is off the car.
Soft top is parchment in colour and was installed just before the car came here 8 months ago.
The body is beautify. The paint is great - but not perfect.
Interior is in terrific condition - red and white.
Engine is 292 V8 with auto transmission. Everything runs perfectly. You could drive this car across Australia without any concern.
Tires are good - but they are cross ply tires.
The car was restored approximately 10 years ago by Bill Giles who was a mechanic on Carrol Shelbys race team. This shows in the way the car runs. The only things not original are the radio - it now has a cassette play that does not work. and the carby/air cleaner combination. The original carby comes with the car along with the original air cleaner but the carby will need to be rebuilt.
Words cannot describe how this car drives - it has no bad manners at all.
