This is a good looking and unusual pickup from the 40's that started a new era in truck design from Detroit.

The taller and wider windshield provided the driver with better visibility and set the Dodge truck apart

from the competition with this new design.

It is powered by it's original 218 cid

L-6 and backed up by an optional 4 speed transmission with the famous 

"Granny Low " first gear

This model has the optional cab quarter windows for elimination of the 

blind spots 

This is a good running truck that is

rare to find with a solid cab and cab floors. There is some rust perforation in the bed side . though minor . and also some in the bottom of the tailgate panel.

There are some dents and dings in the body that were not removed when the paint was refinished.

The wood floor in the bed is good.

It has been converted to 12 Volt and

it has a nice stereo and CD player mounted under the left side of the dash

Lights and gauges do operate along with the wipers. though the wipers are vacuum and are slow.

Turn signals have been added and the

tires have been recently replaced. They are radials.

I believe the interior has a lot of the original soft trim still in it.

All in all. a good old truck that will be

fun to own and ride around town in.
