Real 1969 Dodge Superbee
My priorities have changed and it's time to let this car go. It needs to be driven and enjoyed. I purchased from Duffy's in Cedar Rapids back in 2006. It's been driven less than 500 miles/year. Barely driven the last two years. It has been garage kept/covered and never driven in bad weather since I've owned it.
As I understand it. the car had a ground up restoration in AZ prior to coming to Duffy's. I do have some receipts from that time. Since I've owned it. it has performed great but did not have the correct front brakes on the car. I rectified that and the front brakes were redone around 2008. The buyer will need to arrange shipping. I have no way to ship/deliver the car.
I feel car is priced fairly for a real Superbee in this condition. That being said. I don't need to sell this car for financial reasons so please don't approach me with lowball offers. I'm more than happy to answer questions from interested parties. I want the purchaser to be happy and in no way will misrepresent anything about this car. It truly is a beautiful and bad@ss automobile that will make someone very happy.
The Good: Arizona car – extremely clean. 383 Magnum. bored 30 over. Torque flight transmission. 355 Sure-grip rear end. 906 heads. 750 Holley carb. Rare factory T5 car. Power steering. Factory air. Redone cloth interior. CD/Ipod player added under the dash. New speakers – no holes cut. New front power brakes. Dash gauges work. Security system added.
The Bad: Not numbers matching. Surface rust on trunk pan. Minor rust on right quarter panel. AC not working but complete. Factory speedo not working – under dash speedo added. Horn not working. Dash heater/ac controls not working.
Additional photos upon request.
