Selling my 1973 Mazda RX-2 Sedan
I picked this car up about 6 years ago and slowly started putting it back together. It now has pretty much everything and is a complete car that is nearly ready to go back on the road.
Exterior:
earth green paint code
should have a black vinyl top. comes with all of the trim if you desire to install one
fender mirrorsvented 1971 hood (spraypaint black and both studs on one side are broken)have all badges in good condition even if not pictured (except the mazda trunk logo)Libre 13" wheelsrear bumper is bentfront bumper is missingpaint shines with a polishhas some minor surface rust besides passenger quarter panel comes with replacement quarterall glass is good and not delaminated (windshield has a decent size rock chip though. may want to replace it for peace of mind)
Interior:
all original
seats are worn and driver side has a large tear
steering wheel is cracked
everything is accounted for except for rear carpet and maybe a few small odds and endseven has the hard to find fusebox cover
Trunk:
has cardboard sides and rubber floor mat has spare tire
Engine bay:
factory mazda fuel injected 12 a turbo from the savanna rx-7 gt (first generation JDM engine)
fresh rebuild on 0 miles
replaced all seals (atkins rotary master rebuild kit)
replaced all bearings with mazda oem bearings Converted to weber carb with an ultra rare HKS blowthrough turbo kitfactory rx 7 5 speedhas hard to find under tray
Things it still needs to run and drive:
transmission crossmemberdriveshaftexhaust and wastegatefuel pump and regulatorbrakes to be gone throughbattery to be relocated to the trunk (turbo lives where the battery used to go)
comes with two boxes and a trunk full of extra interior. exterior and engine bay parts including things like tail lights. steering wheel and column cover etc.
