1969 Camaro Pro Tour DSE Detroit Speed Resto-rod Convertible Project for sale
Current customer rating:
This is my 1969 Camaro Project. It started with a base Chevrolet Camaro Convertible with a clean regi. I have the VIN tag but not the cowl tag. As you can see most of the bodywork has been done to the car. The front end is still in boxes. The car has Detroit Speed weld in frame connectors as well as mini-tubs. I also have a new convertible top frame.
The rear suspension was supplied by Detroit Speed. It is a Quadralink setup with a ford 9" housing with Tru-Trac 3. 50:1 gears. 31 Spline Strange axles and QA 1 Coil overs. The housing has been powder coated.
The Brakes are Baer Big Brake setup with 6 Piston front brakes and 2 Piece rotors.
The front end is a Detroit Speed Hydro-formed frame with all of there latest compononets. It has also been powder coated. It is mounted with DSE solid body bushings. I have the DSE power steering hoses. LS mounts and a polished Borgeson Steering shaft and coupler for a stock type column.
I will consider selling the car with out the wheels and Tires as well as brakes.
The four corners have Fikse Profil 5 S custom wheels and BF Goodrich Rival Tires:Rear:18 x 12 335/30-18 Front 18 x 10275/35-18
The car also has a: rebuilt non-tilt column Window regulatorsstock bumpers Master cyclinder Booster New Teak Steering wheel
This car is still in need of lots of work but is off to a very good start. All of the suspension is brand new and the installation of the rear was done very nicely. This car is on the way to be a very nice Pro-Tour Camaro.
