Unrestored 1955 Ford Thunderbird with a smooth running no issues 312 Ford engine. With the hood open the 312 looks like the original 292 with aluminum Thunderbird valve covers. A 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive is coupled to the engine. The car was repainted its original Raven Black right before I purchased it 8 years ago. Prior to painting some cosmetic body work was done on the lower rockers and the headlight areas. The car has a decent black folding soft top and a removable steel hardtop stored in a storage bag. Curved glass Stewart Warner oil pressure and amps gauges are installed under the center console. Adjustable air shocks are in the rear. Elegant 1957 Thunderbird glass wind wings are installed but not shown in photos. The car has been maintained by a professional mechanic since I have owned it and everything works. The car has been garage kept since I have owned it and it only goes out on non rainy days for shows and parades. The reason for the sale is the garage is up for sale.
