Gentlemen. we are pleased to offer one of the more coveted cars in Ray's collection. This 1968 Shelby GT500KR was acquired in 2007 from the John Kachigian Trust. out of Taylor Michigan. Mr Kachigian was a retired Ford Motor Company employee. and an avid Mustang collector. We did not receive documentation with the car. but have garnered the Marti Report. This delightful Shelby was presented at Meadowbrook Concours D'elegance in 2004. where it took a Lion Award. We have documented this with Meadowbrook. This car is in the Shelby Registry. I recently had the pleasure of discussing this car with Mr. Kachigian's son. He stated that his father acquired the car in the early eighties. and that the body was rust free. He stated that the car had 60k miles on the odometer at that time. It was reset to zero miles at the time of drivetrain rebuild. It has been driven 10k since. The car is on mileage exempt clear Indiana title.  They had the car repainted it's original color Highland Green.  He said that they had a Shelby guru in Michigan rebuild the original engine. Said it was professionally balanced and blueprinted.  He said that they had the original transmission rebuilt. as well as the rear end. New carpet and front seat covers were added. He said that the car took many awards at many shows during their ownership. We will gladly provide the next owner of this blue chip investment grade beauty with contact information for the previous owner's son.  Marti report shows that this Shelby was built 06/24/1968 and was sold new at Town and Country Ford. in Charlotte NC. Mr Kachigian's son told me that they bought the car from the previous owner. in North Carolina. We welcome your in person or third party inspection.
