This car was subject to a ground up restoration in 2009 by British Motor Corporation. Philadelphia. PA. They are considered a top-tier Austin Healey restoration shop. Driven less than 200 miles post restoration. The entire car was disassembled and restored to correct and good running condition. The restoration included:
New electrical system
New wiring harness
Engine rebuilt
Twin SU carbs rebuilt
Transmission rebuilt
Resealed rear end
Hydraulics rebuilt
Suspension rebuilt
New brakes
New leather interior
New Sunfast top
Badge Bar
New windshield
Bare metal strip and acid wash of all exterior body panels
New stainless steel exhaust

New front and rear seat belts
Original Shelly jack with handle
Oversized radiator and five blade fan
You'll notice the undercarriage photo shows some scratches on the muffler. This was there when I took delivery. I believe it's the result of tow truck cord that was not properly protected. The car's mufflers sit up nicely and clearance is not an issue under normal driving conditions.
