Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.15) based on 196 votes

West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional example of this very original and rust free example of a 1970 Jaguar XKE E-Type Series II coupe with a 4 speed manual transmission and the 6 cylinder 4. 2L/246HP engine and beautifully repainted in 'British Racing Green' with a 'Biscuit' leather interior. all it's original factory tools. knock off mallet. jack. owner's manual and all five original Jaguar chrome wire wheels!

The car is believed to have only some 68K original miles as reported by its previous ownership who kept a hand written log from 57K miles when purchased in 1999 and the car will be sold with this log book and service records. The floor boards and all the typical rust-prone areas are completely solid and rust-free and the car has a razor straight body with no signs of any accidents and no rust. It's striking 'British Racing Green' color paint is in exceptionally fine condition and the car looks extremely impressive with a lovely 'Tan' (Biscuit) leather interior which is in complete and mostly all original condition with the door panels. headliner. dashboard and carpets all in very fine condition. The car has a chrome spare wire wheel. tools. mallet. wooden knock off remover and jack located in the trunk.

The Series II XKE E-Type Jaguar was only built between the years 1969-71 and there were only 4. 55 of these highly desirable FHC (Fixed Head Coupes) built. they are therefore far rarer than the 8. 28 OTS (Open Two Seaters) built or the 5. 26 Longer Wheel Base (9") and far less desirable 2+2 coupes. It is noteworthy that in the final Series III incarnation of the model there were no FHC built at all but some 7. 90 OTS and 7. 97 2+2's. Therefore the Series II FHC Coupes are some of the rarest and most collectible E-Type Jaguars available of this legendary marque.

This is therefore an extremely rare opportunity to own a great daily driving and rust free example of a razor straight and unmodified 1970 Jaguar XKE Series II 4. 2L 2 seater coupe (not 2+2) in exceptionally fine condition throughout being offered as a wonderful collectible for any British classic car lover or indeed as an addition to any serious collection!
