EVERYBODY LIKES A BARGAIN AND HERE IS A CHANCE TO SET YOUR OWN PRICE! ive been wanting to buy a car out of a mans collection for several years and my chance came but i had to buy several vehicles he wanted to get rid of to get the one i wanted and this is one of them. without writing a book, a man that made it not big but huge in our last oil boom bought this car in the early stages of building his multi-million dollar car collection. he says it was one of his favorite cars that he enjoyed driving but when it developed a fuel leak it got parked waiting to be fixed, but by that time he had gotten into yenko, baldwin & COPO cars so it was waaaaaay down at the bottom of the list of important things to do. so @10 years later and nothing ever got done. it just became a parked car in his shop he decided it was time to clean out.i really dont know enough about the car to write the best description and like him this car just dont rank high on my priority list and im not gonna spend the time & money to put it back on the road. im selling it exactly as i pulled it out of his shop and let the guy out there looking for a bargain and something to play with it.my knowledge of chevelle's is minimum and i think ive forgotten more than i might have known at one time so ive taken pictures i thought might help somebody that does. the car is badged as a SS396 but im not making any claims on that of any kind whatsoever, you decide for yourself. if it was it is not a matching numbers car today so it really dont matter. it does appear to have a 396 which according to the folder of receipts that was in the car was built somewhere between 2005-2010. the paint on the block pad still looks new so i would say it probably dont have many miles on it. the block has not been decked because the numbers on it are still there. with my vision and the alternator in the way i couldnt make them out well but when i noticed they didnt match the vin i didnt see the need to look further. the paperwork indicates it to have a M22 muncie transmission but i did not verify that. as the pictures show it does have a 12 bolt rear. i dont know how well my pictures will show but the body, floors and quarter panels look to be in good shape. all 4 tires are dry rotted.the car is located at 1602 s. market in Hearne, Texas 77859. im looking to get it out of my shop as soon as possible.the car is listed at NO RESERVE and will be sold to the highest bidder. payment due within 7 days of auction ending, im selling this car the way im selling it so i can get it out of my way. THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE PAYMENT METHODS WILL BE, U.S. CURRENCY when you get here to pick it up or BANK WIRE. no matter what you read anywhere else these are the only payment methods accepted. Texas residents must pay TAX, TITLE FEES & $250 documentary fee. there will not be registration fees because the car is not road worthy.
