First registered 26/01/1968 in Somerset and has spent most of its life in the Somerset/Devon area.  
MOTed until Oct 24th 2014. Taxed for 12 months (free tax)
This is a nice example of a practical classic pick-up. Purchased last year from a friend who was moving. He had kept it off the road in a heated garage since 2006. Has since been in dry storage up until going for its MOT last week but still only required brake cylinders. It is a pleasure to drive. Everyone smiles when they see it!I would love to keep it but am now also moving and will no longer have suitable storage.
The current mileage is showing 25. 00. Service records show a new engine was fitted previously at 99. 00 so we assume actual mileage is 125. 00. This is only 2. 00 miles per year on average throughout its life.  
The bodywork is in very good condition with no serious blemishes. Lovely teal blue colour. It has been resprayed at some point and some new panels have been fitted. There is a photographic record of work carried out with the service history.  Included in the sale is a blue canvas tilt for the back. All the fixings for this are intact but there is no cord present so it is not fitted at the moment.  All tyres are Firestone and in nearly new condition.  
Interior looks to be completely original. apart from new carpet. Everything works (heater. door catches. window winders. indicators. lights etc). The only part that needS replacing is the plastic cover for the interior light as it has melted.  
Mechanically excellent. Starts instantly as soon as you turn the key. Gearbox. clutch and transmission all work as they should. Has just passed an MOT and only required new brake cylinders and pipes. These have now been fitted and there are no other advisories. The MOT station commented that the chassis etc is in very good condition.
Vehicle comes with loads of service and parts bills etc; 21 previous MOTs and 21 previous tax discs; original driver's handbook and owner's manual; workshop manual; and four keys.
Overall this is a lovely. practical example of a sought-after. and now very rare. Morris 1000 pick-up. Tax exempt.
Please note this vehicle is 45 years old. It is not quiet. comfortable. or fast. nor does it stop quickly.  It is NOT a 'Concours' nut-and-bolt restoration. Would be great for company promotion. taking to shows. or as a fun everyday vehicle. but is probably not for the perfectionist.
