1949 Chevrolet Other Pickups

The front bumper and brackets have been replaced in the last few months. The original gas tank was removed and replaced with an aluminum tank located at the rear of the truck. All brake and fuel lines were replaced as well. There is a DEE ZEE locking storage unit mounted to the custom flat bed.

The frame and suspension are all original and in good shape. The front straight axle has an aftermarket power rack and pinion kit and also has been converted over to power disk brakes. The kingpins were also replaced. so it steers like a go cart. The steering column has been replaced with an IDIDIT tilt column. The rear has been updated to a Chevy 12 bolt open differential with drum brakes. aluminum cover and a new parking brake setup. The tires are like new and the smoothie hub caps are new.

The engine has been updated to a 292 that has been professionally rebuilt (invoice included) and has an Offenhauser 4bbl intake with Edelbrock carb. The ignition has been updated with an HEI distributor. The exhaust manifold is a cast iron dual exhaust setup and has a two into one muffler. The transmission is a Gear Star 700R4 (invoice included) with a B&M shifter both bought new. A ProForm electric fan system cools the engine and it has an aftermarket transmission cooler. The engine and transmission have less than 5000 miles on them.

The electric bucket seats are in great shape and have covers for when the truck is not in use. The original gauges have been replaced with Dakota digital gauges and has a painless wiring harness through out the truck. The headlights have also been upgraded. The original rear window has been replaced with a sliding one. The heating system has been upgraded to a Vintage Air heating system. the wipers were also upgraded. A cover also comes with the truck.

This truck has over 12k invested into it  - without counting the labor.   There is a box full of receipts and paperwork for all the upgrades (all done within the past 4 years) and a large plastic bin of new and used parts. It will be sold with a signed bill of sale. signed registration and VIN verification.

CT. NY. RI and many other states will not issue a title if the vehicle is over 10 years old.  As long as you have a bill of sale signed by the last registered owner and the signed owner registration (which I have) you can register the vehicle. CT also does not require an inspection. only a VIN verification which I had done.  Check your own state's requirements before you bid.  The truck has a VIN plate on the cab and one on the frame.

The truck is sold. as is. where is. with no warranty.  Please read the ad carefully and ask any questions before the auction is close to ending.  It is the winning bidders responsibility for shipping. A transport can come right to the truck and pick it up with no problems. A nonrefundable deposit of $250. 00 is to be paid within 24 hrs of auctions end via PayPal.
