CHEVROLET CORVETTE. RARE FACTORY SPECIAL BY ZOOMER AUTOMOTIVE DESIGN

This car is a 1984 C4 Corvette prepared by a US company who I believe were known as Zoomer Design Automotive. I'm not sure if they're still around but it's worth doing a Google search. I have a copy of the original Zoomer Build Sheet for this Corvette and the spec is unbelievable. Check out the Ferrari type rear moulding that replaces the stock rear window. You'll see that it extends forward in to the cockpit and consoles down behind the seats. Check out the new removable rear window which completely transforms the car when removed. especially so with the roof panel off. Although I have to say there's nowhere to store them once removed. looks like it's a leave at home job and fingers crossed it doesnt rain. You'll reads more about the suspension further on. but suffice to tell you that the car has the most amazing stance I've ever seen on a C4! Look at the pictures and judge for yourself.
Except for the first few years in the States -  THIS CAR IS VIRTUALLY A ONE OWNER CORVETTE.
As far as I have researched. the car was modified by Zoomer Automotive in 1989 and then shipped to the UK where it has been father & then son owned right up to 2013 which I believe they purchased the car from Investment Motor Cars Inc. Florida. For many years now the car has been in dry storage. believe it or not in the back of a Birmingham clothing warehouse. It was driven out in August 2011 and given a fresh MOT. then put back in to the same storage. Then I purchased the car.  
SO. FEATURES BY ZOOMER AUTOMOTIVE
EXTERIOR.        Paint. Code 80-1990 GM Blue Metalic. Delstar Base Coat. Delclear Urathane Clear. Full Zoomer ground effects. 1990 ZR1 bumpers. Zoomer Design rear wing. and full Zoomer Design roadster kit.
INTERIOR.  Graphite leather seats. complete blue burlwood dash. centreconsole etc.
ENGINEH/d cooling system. modified performance chip. 3" exhaustin to rear 2 & a half inch. in to four chrome tips.
SUSPENSION.   This car is lowered and a complete racing suspension installed set-up by designer Lee Aust. the same suspension was used in eleven out of thirteen Corvette Challenge race cars and were still in World Challenge race cars through subsequent years.  
FRONT - Upper & lower poly bushing. Carreara full adjustable gas shocks. performance springs. sway bar etc. modified glass mono. poly bushed with adjustable bolts. REAR - Carrera adjustable gas shocks. modified mono. poly bushed with adjustable bolts. Dual mount: a race component used on the rear spring and is adjustable for different course applications. H/duty adjustable camber strut rods.
WHEELS. 9. 5" x 16" Denton Chrome Wires with triple ear spinners. 55/50/16" Goodyears.
All the above is taken from the Zoomer Design Spec Sheet for this Corvette and a copy is in the history folder. From what I can see. most that's listed above is still in place and still in remarkable condition. Even the Denton Chrome Wires are still in top order. in fact the whole car still presents itself very well. The paintwork is overall quite superb especially baring in mind the age of the car. There's the odd touch up and the odd small bubble. but I'm being critical. the paint is generally superb. The complete interior is in top road going condition and all the weatherseals are really good. The bonnet support is missing although I seem to remember there's one in the rear of the car.   Above all. the car is on the key. it's a first time starter and runs well. the box changes smoothly. It must represent the ultimate Corvette opportunity for someone.
SO THERE YOU HAVE IT - A SUPER RARE PIECE OF CORVETTE HISTORY. AND WITHOUT A DOUBT THE ONLY ONE IN THE UK. FOR THAT MATTER MAYBE EVEN EUROPE. AND CERTAINLY NOT A LOT OF MONEY TO LAY OUT!
The car would make a fabulous fun car for someone. or would be equally at home in a museum or private collection. I'm not being greedy with a starting price of £4800 and I'm sure it's worth a lot. lot more. And remember. this car has never been seen at a show in the UK and neither has it ever been featured in a UK magazine.  In fact. I can name you two UK magazines who would fight to do a feature on this car right now!
After looking over the car very critically I can inform the following. front bumper paintwork matches car perfectly. I think the photo has caught the sun. The passenger outside door handle was removed and the opening filled at the time of the conversion. like the later C5 Corvette. and you can just see an outline crack appearing. for want of a better word. Both headlights appear to have had all new lifting mechanisms & motors. nbsp; LED dash works as it should. there are no warning lights showing up on the instrument panel.  The engine starts first turn of the key and the box goes through it's gears well. in fact I have no reason to doubt the full drive-train at all. I really have been as truthful as I can concerning this Corvette. and after reading all the above. I assure you that you will be amazed when you view this car. this is very much a one-off Vette that will take very little time & energy to get back on the road.
