Up for your consideration is an original Southern California AMX. rust free professionally restored with pictures to prove it. Please see the extended description below for additional details but here are the highlights: Motor rebuilt with less than 50 miles. Complete body and paint restoration. This AMX is ready to get in and drive with air conditioning power steering and a 4 speed! What will the new owner need to do? The new owner will need to install various interior trim pieces such as the console/ carpet/ seat belts etc. The good news. car comes with all those parts and the engine/ electrical / mechanical/ & body is finished. Why am I selling? I have other vehicle to drive and 5 other vehicles I'm restoring and no time in sight. There are well over 20 k in part receipts as long as various manuals and literature. This is about the nicest rust free highly optioned AMC you will find in need of a good home!

New charcoal leather fully
reclining bucket seats
Every option available in
1969 including:
clock. AM/FM radio. power
steering. air conditioning. tilt steering column. Go Pack. etc. Styled
steel wheels with trim rings (Magnum 500's) and Redline tires. Original
trim tag on left door.
New mechanicals - rebuilt
& blueprinted.
Original Southern California
car. no filler anywhere.
Black plates and license
frame from original dealer. Town & Country Rambler in Fullerton. CA
with owner history.
Engine
390 now completely rebuilt
to 401 with Group 19 modifications: Milodon oil pan and pump with shining
pickup. lifter valley oil pressure modification. dog leg heads. roller
rockers. and custom tubular headers that fit tight to the body. Edelbrock
torker intake manifold. Holly carburetor. Engine is painted to appear
stock. internals are balanced and blueprinted.
Engine is built to last. runs and drives perfect with a nice rumble at idle and making a few extra H. P. to boot
Transmission
Converted to 4-speed using a
date coded T-10 transmission with Hurst Super Shifter and factory AMX
pedals. bell housing. etc.
Transmission is from Buzz
Dyer's Trans-Am race car. fully rebuilt with stock clutch linkage and new
clutch assembly. New. balanced driveshaft with heavy duty slip yoke.
Misc. Mechanical and Parts
Stainless steel fuel lines
to fuel pump. Aeroquip after to carburetor. Brake booster rebuilt and
powder coated. New master cylinder. complete stainless steel brake lines
installed. new flexible brake lines and calipers. wheel cylinders. etc. Mechanically the car is good! All the glass is perfect and original to the
car. All trim is present. bumpers have been re-chromed. Most interior trim
has been purchased and is present. The car is on it's way to being show
ready! We have photos of restoration by a professional restorer. A perfect
AMX!
Final thoughts
The bills alone for the restoration/ labor/ and parts far out weight the asking price. You will not find a more solid car and certainly will not be able to build one for this price.
