Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this show worthy '69 Coronet R/T. This car showcases a professional 4-year ground-up restoration to this beautifully detailed piece of Mopar Muscle history. This custom built show car is an original 440 R/T and is powered a professionally built high performance 440. Approximately 6400 miles have been logged on this amazing car. all on Sunday afternoon drives and to the car shows. This is a multi-award winner. The car finished 2nd twice in Dallas Autorama at Market Hall (2010-11). It was the only street driven car in its class. From 2010 to present. this Coronet R/T finished 1st at the Southwest Mopar Club of Dallas sponsored Southwest Regional Mini-Nationals.

Dodge's Coronet holds the unique distinction as being the first Mopar to carry the R/T or Road and Track moniker. This is an original R/T 440 Coronet that has been restored to a beautiful show quality car. This is a multi-award winning car that has regularly participated in shows throughout the Southwest. The R/T package features big block 440 V8 power as standard equipment (optional was the 426 HEMI). heavy-duty suspension. beefier brakes. larger tires. and R/T badging. The Coronet R/T was only offered for 4 production years. beginning in 1967 and ending in 1970. the glory days of American Muscle Cars.
Fly Low or Fly High. the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum is the location for many of our photos of this classic Muscle Car. Mark Renfroe Custom Paint & Body of Long Grove. Oklahoma is responsible for the mile deep custom black base/clearcoat finish.

The R/T stripe is a custom brilliant yellow pearlescent blend. This car was massaged from bare metal up to its present beautiful condition. In 1968. the Dodge Coronet was re-designed to this sleek. streamlined body. Less than 7. 40 Coronet R/Ts were produced in 1969. The era of the muscle car was coming to a close in grand style. The big block Dodge was and is still king in the hearts of many enthusiasts to this day.
This specially prepared 440 was built by Mopar expert Kyle Llano of Gainsville. Texas. Kyle is also responsible for the built 727 automatic transmission and 8 3/4 differential behind this healthy powerplant. The engine was balanced and blueprinted by Raymond Grice Engine of Durant. Oklahoma.
This car has been fitted with T. T. I. ceramic coated headers. Aluminum Edelbrock Heads. upgraded MSD ingition. an Edelbrock Aluminum intake. tuned Demon 850 4bbl. carburetor and much more. A specially ground Hughes Engineering camshaft was ground for this car.
This is an adult operated and pampered car that has been set up to drive to the car shows comfortably with 100% performance.
The interior features two-tone custom grey leather upholstery. very nicely done by Ron Cash upholstery of Carrollton. Texas. The bucket seating matches the door panels and is complimented by the factory center console.
This R/T retains its original Rallye instruments. Much of the wiring and special detail work is by Jack Laswell- J&L Enterprises of Rowlett. Texas.
The undercarriage is also detailed to show. complimented by Q1 adjustable billet aluminum rear shocks and a 3-inch polished dual exhaust system with Magnaflow Mufflers (sounds perfect. )
This special Coronet R/T features show quality re-chromed brightwork by Best Bumper of Hutching. Texas.
The trunk has been custom upholstered and badged. The battery is mounted in the rear inside of a special polished battery box.
This Coronet R/T has been fitted with a power antenna.
The polished 15-Inch Weld Wheels are wrapped in 205/60R15 Michelin front tires & sticky 275/50R15 M/T E/T Street rears.
