1983 Porsche 928 for sale
Current customer rating: (366 votes ) based onThe car is great and has a lot of kick. I've put in about 5K of servicing. It passed the smog test in 12/17/2016. Has a new Becker cdr-220 cd player.
Comes with 'The club" for steering wheel and a tire lock clamp. A/C and heat work. all console buttons work. windows work. sunroof works. back hatch works and has some tools. headlights and dash lights work. seats work. everything works. But it's in some level of used condition.
The Fixes: (05/12/17)-All fuel injection lines replaced!-Power steering lines checked. -New air pump installed and belt. -All belts checked and fluids changed/oil changed/coolant changed. etc. -Timing belt checked (it's fine). -New oil filter. -New air pup filter. -New fuel pump relay. -Replaced bushings. -Dashboard replaced (has minor cracks between vents). -Removed third party security system. -New blinker cover. -Reinforced cracked front spoiler. -The back bumper was bent from previous owner. so I got that warped back with new tension arm. -New dash light dimmer wheel. -Replaced door vents. -New coin holder.
The Cons:-Grinds a bit when shifting from 5th down to 4th gear. Best to get new syncros and best to shift slowly in general. -The body has some scratches. chipped paint near the back hatch. and an overly buffed spot near front driver's side panel. -Pod has top center vertical crack. -In general. the car is used and has a little bit of wear everywhere. but looks and feels great. -Back seat belt frame fell off side. -No certificate of authenticity. but have original bill of sale when it first was sold in New Jersey.
***IMPORTANT! All sales are final. Currently. the car resides in Los Angeles. The car is still being paid for. therefore the bank (Wells Fargo) is the lien holder of the title. So if you purchased the car. I would have to wait for your payment to pay off the balance with the bank which would take one day. Then they would send me a new title cleared in my name which would take a week or two. Once the new title is received. I would immediately transfer the title to you the buyer. There is no way around this. Again. this process would likely take a couple weeks. so please keep that in mind.
The car is very fun to drive.
