This Van Nuys Built 1971 Camaro has had all of the hard work completed and is ready to be taken to the next level. Original AC car and also ordered with pwr steering & pwr front disc brakes. has the real RS front end w/ Z28 badges front & rear. A newly rebuilt big-block 454 is under the hood and it is mean! This engine has new wiring. starts easy. does not smoke or leak and runs cool. Built utilizing an aluminum dual-plane intake and a Holley Performance 4-Barrel carburetor. large lobe but streetable cam shaft. this engine makes a wonderful amount of horsepower that scares the rubber of the tires! Spark is handled by a new HEI distributor passing thru new wires and plugs. Spent gasses flow thru new coated headers. new 3" diameter pipes and new shorty mufflers w/ turndowns all professionally installed. Under the NEW 4" steel Cowl hood you will also find the following NEW items: 1-wire alternator. starter. battery. battery tray. aluminum radiator & cap. steel inner fender wells. belts & hoses and oil dip stick.   Power is transmitted via a new TH-400 transmission w/ a 2500 rpm stall speed converter. New transmission lines have also been installed and the driveshaft has been balanced. shortened & new u-joints installed. Finally. the rubber meets the road via the stock rear end w/ billet differential cover that spins ENORMOUS 19" x 10" Goodyear Eagle meats wrapped around Beyern chrome rims. A large diameter 1-1/4 front sway bar w/ new Mevotech links are present in addition to the ball-joints and control-arm bushings. Bilstein shocks all around w/ Summit lowering springs w/ new hardware complete the deal making this 2nd-Gen a very competent road performer! The original rear stabilizer bar will be include with the sale. Original quarter panels. wheel houses. rocker panels. doors. fenders & floors except for the rear driver side foot-well which has been replaced.
 
New interior items installed include new carpet and door-panels as well as the package tray and seats. The fronts are ProCar Elite series w/ correct adaptors and lap belts. Other new interior features are summit gauges. OER door dill plates. rear-view mirror. windshield & seal. window trim and a new B&M shifter. The headliner is in good shape. the windows roll up a & down and the doors function properly. The dash has an inside mount Mallory Tachometer. All lights and signals function properly. but the in-dash wiring should be addressed and the AC vents are missing.
This is a rust-free California central valley Camaro. and as such shows no signs of rust or rot common on cars of this era. Also. there are no signs of accident damage and car runs great! This car has THAT stance. has the mean sound that hurts your neck trying to see it and just looks aggressive!
