This is an early 1965 GT Fastback built April 20. 1965.

April 1965 was the first month Fastbacks were GT equipped and only 2% of all Fastbacks were GT's.

Repainted December 2016 in its original color ‘Caspian Blue Metallic' with white GT side stripes.

Paint is base coat/clear coat with three coats of clear.

Paint is nice driver quality and looks great. some imperfections.

This is a nice rare colored factory GT Fastback that was restored to be driven.

All parts are original. new or refurbished.

New interior including carpet. dash pad. woodgrain instrument bezel. white deluxe pony seats. deluxe door panels. chrome fold down seat trim. rear view mirror. etc.

Original woodgrain steering wheel.

Metal dash under speedometer has the correct curvature to allow for the deluxe five gauge instrument cluster bezel.

Uncut dash and original AM radio (not hooked up).

Complete interior with all rear fold down trim pieces in place.

Factory original GT reinforcement panels under rear seat for dual exhaust hangers.

Engine is a strong running 289 V 8 ‘A' code painted black and gold like it was from the factory.

New fuel pump. fuel lines front to back. gas tank. sending unit and gas cap.

Three core Radiator

Transmission is the original 4 speed Toploader. close ratio. 28 spline that shifts easy.

Original ID tag (HEH-BT) still attached.

Ford Factory GT Front Disc Brakes are original to car and has the big GT single manual master cylinder.

Drum brakes on 9 inch rear end.

All in good working order. Stops on a dime.

Styled steel wheels with blue center caps and newer tires.

New dual exhaust front to back with GT trumpet tips exiting through rear valance.

Headlights. taillights. brake lights. turn signals. fog lights and interior lights all work.

New taillight bezels and lenses. new parking/turn signal lights. new reverse lights (not hooked up).

Correct original factory Fog Light switch with original wiring and circuit relay with constant power mounted on the brake pedal support brace as it was from the factory.

Has the correct ‘D' shaped switch mounting hole stamped at the factory.

Original radiator support with correct punched fog light wiring holes. Original Fo Mo Co Fog Light bar. bezels and wiring.

Rear taillights are on when Fog Lights are turned on.

Front suspension has new lower control arms. upper ball joints and newer tie-rods.

GT large diameter sway bar.

Rear quarters are all original.

Solid original front and rear GT correct frame rails.

Floors all original with one small 6 inch patch made at drivers front floor/firewall extension panel where your left foot rests.

New roof rail. trunk and door weather stripping.

All original stainless exterior trim in good shape. a few dimples/blemishes here and there.

New radio antenna.

New “Mustang” fender letters and GT emblems.

Windshield has small rock chip. no need to replace.

Back glass and Door glass all original with scratches on lower passenger side door window.

New door locks. exterior door handles and drivers side mirror.

Lots of other new parts installed.
