This is a stunning 1949 Plymouth Deluxe two door coupe for sale. The '49 Plymouth is a nice combination of classic retro and modern power and convenience. The 1994 Dakota V6 carbureted engine provides power and reliability to the classic styling of the '49 Body style. The car has a modern 377 automatic transmission. This car has a rumble that will make your blood boil!

The paint on this '49 is stunning. The car has collected many trophies at shows. and everyone who lays eyes on the car marvels at the beautiful. mirror finish paint job. The color is a dark brown metallic that pops in the sunlight and looks black at sundown.

For the past five years the current owners have enjoyed taking this car to shows and events. Recent service includes brake work and new rear air shocks. The car was painted prior to 2005 and it still looks great. The mirror finish on this car is spectacular. There are a few small imperfections and I point them out in the Close-Up Photo Gallery on my Sunset Classics Web Site. There is a link to these and other photos below the photos in this auction. The car comes with a stack of receipts showing much of the work done to the car over the years. The receipt for the engine shows the mileage on it when purchased was 35k.
