1978 Plymouth Trailduster 4x4 California Trailduster, Restored One Of A Kind 4x4

 

This is a 1978 Plymouth Trail duster 4x4 full convertible with matching hardtop. This vehicle has recently been overhauled both mechanically/cosmetically and has only been driven just over 100 miles since completion.  The truck is 100% rust free and runs extremely well.  It has a tremendous amount of power and nice roar upon acceleration. The end result is an amazing sounding. running and driving Trail duster. The truck is mechanically sound and the heat even works.

Here are most of the things that were most recently done.

-Overhauled 440 c. i. engine

-Edlebrock 650 4 barrel carburetor

-Edlebrock Performer intake manifold

-Rebuilt rear differential with 3. 55 gears

-Front Dana 44 differential has been serviced

-Headers

-6" inch leaf spring lift and a 3" inch body lift

The brake system was completely gone through

-Front wheel bearings

-Front rotors

-Brake pads all the way around. All the brake hoses are good.

-Custom Dash cluster

-All new Auto Meter Pro-comp gages (w/new sending units for all)

-Turn signals

-Dual Flow masters with chrome tips

-New General 35" inch Grabber tires (very nice)

-Roadrunner horn

-New Custom Grant 15 inch Mopar Style Period correct steering wheel

-Complete Rhino liner floor

-New HID headlights (lights and bulbs)

-New turn signal lenses (led bulbs)

-NOS taillights with led bulbs  and reverse LED's

-Nice (recently) polished wheels with new eagle alloy chrome center caps

-New Front bumper

-New Rear heavy duty bumper

-New heavy duty mirrors (passenger side mirror glass has a small chip)

-Alarm system with power door locks (key fobs)

-New door lock knobs

-Rebuilt door handles

-All trim/body side molding was removed and polished prior to complete paint

-Complete paint. looks great small ding on tailgate above trim (see pics). otherwise no dents.

-Polished grille

-Custom front bucket seats with all new upholstery. rear stock seat with new upholstery

-Custom locking center console

-Dash was completely restored and reupholstered

-New windshield and rubber seal

-Pioneer speaker boxes in rear with Pioneer head unit and custom enclosure

-New gas cap

-New door seals

-New sun visors

-Reupholstered door panels

This 4x4 is one of a kind and the new owner will have lots of looks and fun driving this beast around town or to the beach. Due the to high performance engine this vehicle will not pass California emissions. so if the new owner is in California he or she will be responsible for the smog check.  

Vehicle must be paid for in full prior to title transfer.

Every vehicle we list has a clean title (unless otherwise noted and disclosed).
