I purchased this car from a gentleman who owned and drove it for many years.  He move in the 90's to Las Vegas and the car was garaged. When I purchased it ran fine however stopping was another matter. I replaced wheel cylinders all the way around and began driving it once more. I noticed however after driving around town the car seem to run too hot. I removed the radiator and the water pump . Sent the water pump off and it was rebuilt. The radiator was rod and cord. Back on the road again. For the last year the car was at the body shop for a resprayed. Beautiful! The color is the original silver metallic blue. The car was only sanded to prep for the paint but there was no signs of any body work ever performed. The interior was reupholstered and and a new head liner was done before I bought it. The carpet is Wilton wool and is new. Door panels were also replaced. Currently the car has sat and it's leaking brake fuild at the power booster. It needs rebuilt or something. I am in a small town and this car needs to belong somewhere that there are knowledgeable mechanics  available. Currently it is loosing power steering fuild . In the past the dealer had added a air conditioning . Most components are with the car. The compressor had been removed before I got the car. As a bonus I bought another silver blue 1966 S Type with the manual transmission. The car came from San Francisco Bay Area .  I bought it for the 4 speed transmission and as a parts car. If a reasonable offer is accepted then I will give the buyer the other car. It has been off the road since 1981. It too is solid and no rust. Dented door and broken windshield on the parts car. I recently purchased a complete set of rubber door weather stripping. It's still in the package. As a note. I've never been in the trunk of the parts car for its locked and I don't have a key. That previous owner thinks the spare. ack and tools are all in there. If anyone knows a trick to get into it without damage please let me know and I'll take pic's and send them to you.
Honestly I just lost interest!  It is hard to maintain these great automobiles when you can't finf reliable mechanics. One really good car and one good candidate. If the buyer does not want the second car I will sell it for $500. 00 and help load. Thanks for looking and call with any questions. 417-438-8200Greg
