With the Morris Minor firmly ensconced as an icon of 1950s-60s British motoring. designed by legendary Alec Issigonis. who went on to enduring fame for his groundbreaking work on the Mini. Featuring rack-and-pinion steering and an independent front suspension with torsion bars. the Minor quickly gained acclaim for its precise handling and excellent driving dynamics. which belied its economy market position.
