Barn find! This rare Pontiac came out of dairy barn in upstate NY. Car is very original and retains the original:Numbers matching 400 (see pics) Muncie 4sp. (see pics)Original posi rear. Options the the car came with are as follows:Hood tachFront Disc brakesRally gauges4 speed transmissionTinted glassposi console400 package which includes : 400 motor. hood scoops. special bumper. grills and H. D. front springs. stiffer rear springs and 400 badges. Car is in great shape and retains all original sheet metal and hood. Rear deck lid replaced as the old one had a goofy 80's fairing on it. Motor runs great. starts right up and has tons of power and torque.  You could spin the tires off this car in 3 gears. (no exaggeration)I replaced the clutch. P. P. . throw out bearing. Engine. trans. all mechanical components are perfect. Small rip on drivers seat. all other seats are perfect. Needs rear bumper. console. dash pad. install carpet and trim. Needs new paint as old paint is faded and chalky. Has some minor dings and scratches but nothing serious.  Very rare car in great shape. Very reasonable opening price. Hello. I'm interested in the 1968 Firebird and wondering if its still available. I notice that the post mentions the car was originally from New York....I'm wondering where the car is located currently? I would also appreciate any photo of the engine compartment
