1984 Jeep CJ CJ7 A/C Fuel injection

It's a 1984 Jeep CJ7 4. 2L Hard Top with 107K miles on it. Since April of 2012. I have installed the following:

Receiver Hitch and trailer plug
CB Radio and Antenna
Locking center console
Kenwood Stereo w/ CD. USB. MP3. Bluetooth Handsfree
New 6X9 and 5-1/4' speakers
12 volt power inside Locking console
JB Conversion Dana 300 twin stick kit
Rebuilt Dana 300
Resealed T5 transmission with Overdrive
Rear 6 x 9 speakers mounted in enclosures with built in drink holder
Bikini Top
New Radiator and water pump
Tachometer
New Aluminum valve cover to replace leaky plastic one.

The compression checked out between 120-130 across the 6 cylinders. The Carter BBD carb was swapped over to the injection system. and I immediately noticed the smell of gas at the tailpipe had disappeared. It passed emissions with flying colors and that is peace of mind compared to a lot of older carbed jeeps. The injection was the best thing I did to the jeep by far. although AC is pretty nice when its mid 90's and up. I don't think I ever ran the AC on anything other than low speed even on the 100 degree days.

With a factory 20 gallon fuel tank you can sure go a long way. especially with the fuel injection now

This jeep has the Dana 300 Xfer Case with the T5 overdrive 5 speed tranny. It also has Power Steering and brakes. The Warn winch is rated at 5000lbs. There is a covered storage behind the rear seat. An interior light was added that is tied into the Headlight switch that really lights up the interior now. This CJ has stock springs with no lift and is running brand new Goodyear Wrangler's with less than 50 miles on them.

This is a very nice looking CJ. but there are tiny dings and scrapes here and there and a couple places where some rust had tried to bubble up a while back. they are hard to see unless you get really close and look for them. Those spots were wire brushed and treated before being painted. So here is a classic old CJ with the features of some of the newer jeeps like A/C. fuel injection. handsfree blue tooth. and an Ipod/Flash drive friendly stereo.
