1938 Cadillac coupe model 6127 w/dual side mounts. Of the six originally made this is 1 of 3 thought to still exist! Owner purchased the car in 1961. Car was finished in 1993 into what it is today ( car still looks fresh)
Car has Nova front clip with custom tube frame with coilovers. bar and watts linkage. 9" rear end narrowed by Messler products and has 350 gears. Car rides on Michelin 225/60 R 15 fronts. with Hoosier 29 x 18. 5 x 15 RT radials on rear. tires have less than 20 miles on them.
Body is stock. other than welded rear fenders and shaved trunk handle. Paint is Sikkens Black Saphire metallic (Looks dark metallic blue) Chrome and stainless pieces are excellent shape. Grill is custom made replica of original with stainless components.
Drivetrain is 454 chevy with B&M mega blower and twin 750 CFM Edelbrocks. Trans is a Turbo 400 with cooler and fan. 9" rear end. Cooled with Griffin radiator. Has Power steering and brakes.
Interior has 1979 Vette dash. console. and steering column with tilt tele. Seats are T-Bird-8 way electric and cloth paneled. Stitching was done by Lance Troupe. A/C and Heat. Has Pioneer stereo with 2 amps and equalizer. Power windows with tinted glass.
This car has been driven for 20. 00 plus miles. drives very well on road and is comfortable and fun. Has gotten multiple Goodguys picks and was class winner at Portland Roadster show. Car was shown extensively for the first few years after build and has been garaged with little use for the last 15 yrs.
I have Picture album of car being built through the years. Body on this car is as solid as new!
