1939 DeSoto Flat 6 3 on the tree for sale

Your are looking at a 1939 De Soto 2 door Sedan that we picked up at an auction last year.
What you see is how it was purchased. the only work we have done to it is replace the battery (12 V system) and the ignition switch.
This car runs and drives well for its age. but does smoke little while running.
The only other issue that I know is that the left rear wheel cylinder leaks. I purchased one but have not installed it yet.
I do have both bumpers from a dodge that are supposed to fit that will go with the car. but they will need to be restored. It is a flat head 6 and 3 speed on the column.
It also had an over drive knob on the dash.
I will do my best to answer any questions you have. but I really do not know much about cars of this age.
We bought it because we thought it was an interesting car. drove it to a local cruise in last summer. and made a couple short trips.
We have had our fun in it and now it is time to put the money back in the account.
