1985 Aston Martin Lagonda Base Sedan 4-Door 5.3L for sale
Current customer rating: (397 votes ) based onBeing offered a very rare piece of automotive history. There were fewer than 700 Lagonda's from 1974 to 1990. This car sold for almost $170. 00 new. The current owner has owned this Lagonda since 2002. It has basically been stored for the last 10 to 11 years. It does get started and run about once a month. Please read the description of the condition carefully. Also please do not ask what is the lowest price the owner will take. the answer is just put in the highest bid you are willing to pay and see what happens.
EBAY IS REQUIRING THAT THIS LISTING TO BE SHOWN AS SALVAGE TITLE DUE TO SOMETHING IN THE TITLE HISTORY FROM AUTOCHECK FROM 1995. IT IS BEING SOLD WITH A VALID REGULAR TEXAS TITLE THAT WAS ISSUED TO THE CURRENT OWNER IN 1999.
The car has been repainted at sometime before the current owner bought it. The paint is in good condition for being at least 14 years old. It appears to have had some body work done. but the body is straight except for a few door dings and 1 slightly larger on the right rear quarter panel that has a spot of touch up paint applied ( the spot is about as big as a quarter). The leather interior is in good shape. the carpet is about average and may have faded some over the years. Most of the wood trim has cracks and some peeling. some of it has pieces missing. The radio is a Sony Cassette player. may not be original. The car is showing 15559 miles on the odometer under the hood. The electrical one in the dash shows 1179. so it is being sold as actual mileage unknown. The car does need electrical work (it is British so that should be expected). some of the electrical equipment works. some doesn't. The air conditioning doesn't work not sure about the heat. The car was running when put in storage and we are attempting to get it running and will up date as we go along. It would be wise for the winning bidder to have the car transported.
The winning bidder will be expected to pay a $500. 00 deposit within 72 hours of the end of the auction. The balance must be paid within 7 days of the end of the auction. Payment maybe by Bank Wire Transfer. Pay Pal. or Cashier's Check. If paid by cashier's check the vehicle will not be released until the check is verified and cleared. Buyer is responsible for shipping or transport. No money will be forwarded or paid to a shipping company by the seller.
