CUTLASS HURST OLDS 54K ORIG MILES - ALL MATCHING NUMBERS - T-TOPS -RARE!!! for sale

Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2.5) based on 344 votes

Here is the chance of a lifetime to acquire an absolutely beautiful. collector quality 1975 Cutlass with the FACTORY HURST OLDS PACKAGE. ALL MATCHING NUMBERS with the original drivetrain that it was born with. This specimen has actual documented mileage of 54. 32 and is the definition of a true surviving. time capsule.  This HURST OLDS was meticulously maintained by me and by it's past owner (my good friend) who was absolutely in a love affair with this beauty (Sold it to me when he divorsed). Garage kept. covered and pampered since the day he took possession of it (he owned it for over 15 years). it was only taken out and driven only on the nicest of days and has never seen snow or inclement weather of any kind. It has never had any damage or been involved in any accidents of any kind.

I have had the privilege of being the owner of it for the past 5 years. during which I have put fewer than 1. 00 of those miles on it. It has spent the entire time under the cover in my temperature controlled 6-Car Gargage where it has been the crown jewel of my car collection. It has been only taken out for the occasional car show where I have won multiple trophies with it. I am only parting with it in order to free up some space and funds for my other hobbies.

You will not find a nicer ORIGINAL HURST OLDS with these low miles and this condition for the price I'm asking anywhere. There were just over 2. 00 made in 1975 and very few survive today (when's the last time you saw one??). especially as original and nice as this one.

I am very picky about the appearance of my cars (my wife calls it a sickness) and can tell you I would give this one an overall rating of a 9 out of 10 with the exterior. interior and drivetrain all scoring at the 9 mark. It runs very smoothly and drives as it did in 1975 because of the maticulous care that has been taken with this car. The engine runs super smooth with no unusual noices or vibrations. The engine does not burn any oil and the exhaust is always clean with no smoke. The car shifts perfectly. It tracks perfrectly straight when you hit the brakes and has the tightest steering I've experienced on a 70's car. It also has the FAT Stock Hurst Factory Steering Wheel (Orig) which is much nicer than those skinny grandma steering wheels of that era.

Unlike most of these cars advertised. this one drives 100% correct and tight because of the orignal mileage. Other cars that have been restored may look nice on the outside but will never drive like a low mile factory original. The car is tightest car of this era I've driven. most likely becuase of the bigger sway bars. and other performance enhancements that came with the Factory Hurst Package.

I know that you will be very impressed by it's driving characteristics.

The car is all original with the excption of regular maintenance items such as brakes. tires. exhaust etc. In the photos you will see a chrome air cleaner and valve covers which are right for that time period. however I have the original air cleaner and valve covers wrapped and boxed and they are in absolute mint conditon.

The Interior is absolutley gorgeous with no cracks on the dash. or anywhere else. The gages and instrument panel looks like it just left the showroom floor (all original). It still has it's original Digital Tack mounted on the center console and it's fully functioinal. which is VERY RARE. The Swivel Buckets seats are in excellent conditon as well with only one very tiny section on the driver's seat where the stiching has started to seperate in one of the seems. Not very noticable at all. and very easy to fix (just needs to be stiched back together with the correct thread. nothing ripped or torn). Passenger Seat is perfect. The door pannels are super clean and in perfect condition. The back seat looks like they were never sat in. As a plus. nbsp;a OEM GM interior carpet was added a few years back (original black color) and is still in super clean condition because of the multiple floor matts I have in place. I also have a beatuful set of HURST OLDS floor matts that are included with the sale.

The Body has all the original panels. There is no bondo in this car that I can detect anywhere and I know it's past history for the last 18 years or so. Itt's very solid all over with no rust or pervious accidents ever. The bottom side is the same way. No rot or crud. very clean and original. The Ralley Wheels are original to the car and it has the factory spare still mounted in the trunk.   This car has been stored correctly every cold season and has been exercise routinely in the summer months. It has NEVER EVER been exposed to any type of snow or salty roads (that would be a Sin in my book :  )    That will be eveident to you as well when you see it!

The T-Tops are like new. Super clear glass tops and the stainless Frames of the tops are in beatuful condition.  They do not leak a drop (I know from washing the car). All the seals around the T-Tops. Doors and Trunk and real nice and still supple (this is from always being garaged and out of the Sun).

As that I am so picky. I have noticed a few minor blemishes on the car such as a few touched up stone chips that are barely noticable and most likely won't be visable until I point them out for you. If you are looking for a 75. 00 dollar frame off restored car. this is not it.  This is a car that is dependable to drive every day of the summer is you wished tand at the same time will turn almost every head you drive by. I cannot stop at to get gas or go into the store without someone compliment it's condition for being original and to tell me how they wish they would have saved their CUTLUSS. HURST or 442.

If you are looking for a totally original unmolested investment grade car. that is turn-key. AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE TO DRIVE with the T-TOPS OFF and the WIND IN YOUR HAIR. this is it! This is not a brand new car and pleae don't expect it to be. This is an original car that has lead a very pampered life and was extremely well cared for by owners that really cherish their automobiles.

This car can be driven anywhere. It's 100% dependable and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it accross the country if you want to fly in and drive home. It also just passed inspection this month.

The value of these cars continue to climb (especially original cars). Keep it for an investment or buy it to take the kids or grandkids out for ice cream on Sundays. Either way you will be totally satisfied with this car!   CPI car collector guide places the value of this car between $20K and $25K (and I have it insured for that). however MY RESERVE IS THOUSANDS LESS than that).

Also included with the sale of this car is the dealer provided spare keys and all of the documentation and maintenance records. I can be reached at 585/749/4600 for any addtional information.

Please no calls from other organizations offering to sell my car for me. I don't need it.   The car will sell itself.
